This story is about Zoey, a 7th grader who struggles with her workload every day. She has even more to worry about than homework and fitting in, she has to take care of a lot of parenting duties for her family. She has three younger siblings (a 3-year-old, a 4-year-old and a baby) whom she must take care of after school, and she does everything for them from feeding them to putting them to bed. They never have enough food for all of them and because they are in an unstable living situation, Zoey has lots to deal with.
