This story is about Zoey, a 7th grader who struggles with her workload every day. She has even more to worry about than homework and fitting in, she has to take care of a lot of parenting duties for her family.  She has three younger siblings (a 3-year-old, a 4-year-old and a baby) whom she must take care of after school, and she does everything for them from feeding them to putting them to bed. She chooses the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which to her is a space that is beautiful, comfortable, elegant and refined. Once Jamie and Claudia have settled into the museum, a mysterious new angel statue sparks their attention, a statue that the museum bought for only $225, a statue that might be a work of the renowned Renaissance master, Michelangelo - and could therefore be worth millions.  Claudia is determined to find out the truth about the Angel and her undertaking leads her to Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, the wom...

They begin their education in their respective wings of the school and then eventually graduate into fairytales.  Sophie has waited her whole life to be stolen by the School Master, and she dreams of being a princess and can't wait to begin her schooling.  Her best friend, Agatha, has entirely different ideas. She does not want to be taken at all, and wants to stay right in her graveyard home. When the fateful night is upon the town, to both the girl's surprise and horror, they are both taken. And when they reach the school, things don't quite go as Sophie had planned it to be.  Sophie is put ...
