Rapid Fire Book Tag

I found this book tag online and thought it would be fun to do!

It was originally created by Girl Reading on youtube.

_ _ _ _

E-book or Physical Book?

Physical book. I do have a kindle though, and it is extremely convenient and easy to keep downloading books onto. But overall, I prefer physical books.

Paperback or Hardback?

Hardbacks. But paperbacks are generally easier to carry around.

Online or In-Store Book Shopping?

Definitely In-Store book shopping. But online is easier if I have a particular book in mind.

Trilogies or Series?

I am not sure about this but I am going to say trilogies because they hold my attention span longer than series do.

Heroes or Villians?

Heroes from a plot point of view and I like reading from their perspective. But villains as characters are almost always more interesting.

A Book You Want Everyone To Read?

"Brown Girl Dreaming - by Jaqueline Woodson".

My review for it:

Recommend An Underrated Book?

I'm not sure which books are underrated because I don't usually read super popular books. But I enjoy Jacqueline Wilson's Hetty Feather series and Grace Lin's books as well.

The Last Book You Finished?

"The Unadoptables - by Hana Tooke"

My review for it:

Last Book You Bought?

"The Unadoptables - by Hana Tooke". (Technically my mother bought it though.)

Weirdest Thing You've Used As A Bookmark?

Anything that is lying around!

Used Books: Yes or No?

Yes, but I don't have many.

Top Three Favourite Genres?

Contemporary/Realistic Fiction, Magic Realism, Fantasy

Borrow or Buy?

Either! I like having my own books, but I love borrowing and using the library as well.

Characters or Plot?

Both! I have read some books with annoying characters and a predictable plot but I think for me both are equally important.

Long or Short Books?

Somewhere in the middle.

Long or Short Chapters?

Definitely short chapters.

Name The First Three Books You Think Of:

Nevermoor - by Jessica Townsend (because that's what I'm currently reading)

The Unadoptables - Hana Tooke

I Swapped My Brother On The Internet - Jo Simmons (also currently reading)

Books That Make You Laugh Or Cry?

Books that make me cry, I love emotional reads. But one in a while I will pick up a book just to laugh.

Our World or Fictional World?

Totally depends on the fiction world.

Audiobooks: Yes or No?

No.

Do You Ever Judge A Book By Its Cover?

Sometimes, yes.

Book to Movie or Book to TV Adaptations?

I usually think the book is better, and I've never seen a TV adaptation so I'm going to say movie.

But films like Kiki's Delivery Service and Howl's Moving Castle were books first but I haven't read them yet, and I love the movies. Little Women is a great movie too.

A Movie or TV-Show You Preferred To The Book?

None.

Series or Standalones?

Standalones.
