Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell and Faith Erin Hicks

Deja and Josiah are seasonal best friends. Every autumn, they work together at a pumpkin patch. This book is about their last day working at the patch since they are graduating and going off to college, and they set out to do all their favourite things and make it the best night.  About the Author:  Rainbow Rowell writes about all kinds of stuff. The Best Books of 2021 (in no particular order)

The time has come...here are my favourite books of 2021! Eep ðŸ˜†! Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson Brown Girl Dreaming is a beautifully written memoir in verse about the author as a young girl finding her voice and her place in the world.  I love this book so much - it is absolutely perfect and I will continue to recommend it till the end of time.  Link to my review:  https://keyalovesbooks.blogspot.com/2021/02/brown-girl-dreaming-jacqueline-woodson.html   Starfish by Lisa Fipps Also written in verse, this book is about Ellie who is tired of being fat-shamed and decides to do something about it.  This book is heartbreaking and poignant - it left me speechless.
