The time has come...here are my favourite books of 2021! Eep 😆! Brown Girl Dreaming by Jacqueline Woodson Brown Girl Dreaming is a beautifully written memoir in verse about the author as a young girl finding her voice and her place in the world.  I love this book so much - it is absolutely perfect and I will continue to recommend it till the end of time.  Link to my review:  https://keyalovesbooks.blogspot.com/2021/02/brown-girl-dreaming-jacqueline-woodson.html   Starfish by Lisa Fipps Also written in verse, this book is about Ellie who is tired of being fat-shamed and decides to do something about it.  This book is heartbreaking and poignant - it left me speechless.
