About the Author: Terri Libenson is a New York Times bestselling children's book author and award-winning cartoonist of the syndicated daily comic strip, The Pajama Diaries. She is also an award-winning humorous card writer for American Greetings. Terri graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) and a minor in art history. She now lives with her husband and two daughters in Cleveland, Ohio. What I thought of the book: I really like this book! I have re-read it multiple times and I still really enjoy it. I really enjoy the art and the difference between Emmie and Katie's pages. It is also pretty relatable (sadly ðŸ˜…) for me as a middle-schooler but it's still fun to escape in...

Middle Grade Graphic Novel Reccomendations

Hi! It's been a while! With my exams over, I'll be back posting regularly now! And to start off, we have a compiled list of my favourite graphic novels (part 2 to come!):-  ____________________________________________________________________________ 1. Kristy's Great Idea (The Baby-Sitters Club series) by Raina Telgemeier and Ann M. Martin This series is a graphic novel adaptation of the modern classic series 'The Baby-Sitters Club' by Ann M. Martin.   The first book follows Kristy Thomas whose eureka moment creates a babysitting club with her best friends, Mary Anne and Claudia as well as the new girl from New York - Stacey. It is also about Kristy accepting her stepdad-to-be and Stacey hiding a secret from the rest of the girls. I absolutely love this series, each of the girls are unique and you get to know and love them in each of their own books as well the kids they babysit and their families.
